The steel truss removal over McDowell Avenue is complete and nighttime column removal will begin. Column removal is expected to last two weeks, Monday through Friday, and will be noisy as heavy equipment removes the concrete and steel columns adjacent to the roadway.

McDowell is expected to be CLOSED Monday through Friday from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the next morning through mid-June.

This will make room for construction of the new northbound viaduct. 

Removal of the viaduct will last approximately four months and will begin at the eastern end and work west.

This work will last approximately six months and will include distinct utility projects in varying locations within the work areas. Additional notification will be provided prior to upcoming road closures, major parking impacts, and planned, short-term power outages.

The first section of utilities relocation will occur on and around Halleck Street and Lincoln Boulevard. This section  of work is expected to last approximately two months. There will be parking impacts behind Buildings 222 and 223 on Halleck Street and the parking area will be closed during portions of this work. Notification will be provided with specific dates when the parking area will be closed.
